  • Heart and Hope
    • Heart and Hope is a full day event that is
      designed to help bring individuals who are
      at risk, families who have children with
      disabilities and the professionals who serve
      them awareness in of their options and rights
      that are available to them within the school
      system and beyond.

  • POPIN
    • Florida's Region One Parent Training and Information
      Center (PTI) This program, funded by the U.S Department
      of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)
      provides PTI services to the Panhandle of Florida from
      Escambia to Alachua County.
  • PEN
    • Florida's Region Three Parent Training and Information
      Center (PTI) This program, funded by the U.S Department
      of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)
      provides PTI services to the nine most southern counties
      in the state. These include: Collier; Hendry; Glades; Martin;
      Broward; Dade; Lee; Palm Beach; and Monroe.
  • Special Needs Trusts
    • Family Network on Disabilities
      provides comprehensive special needs trust services,
      including service as a trustee, co-trustee, or trust administrator.
      We handle all types of special needs trusts,
      including pooled trusts. Family Network serves as trustee
      for the Family Network on Disabilities National Pooled Trust,
      proudly serving persons with disabilities since 1999.
      We also serve as administrators for several other pooled trusts,
      including FND's Family Pooled Fund of third party trusts,
      as well as many individual special needs trusts.
  • TILES
    • TILES is a statewide project that targets
      youth and young adults with disabilities
  • PEP
    • The PEP Project is unique and different.
      Since 1993, PEP has provided information,
      training, and support to parents of children
      with disabilities in isolated, rural areas of
      Florida. These areas include: Hendry, Glades,
      and Lee Counties, along with Immokalee and the
      Big Cypress Reservation.
  • Sharing the Commitment
    • Sharing the Commitment is a partnership between
      local County Exceptional Student Education Departments
      and Family Network on Disabilities (FND) to provide
      information, training and support to educators, parents,
      and agencies on services and programs for students with
      disabilities. Sharing the Commitment sponsors workshops
      for all persons interested in services for students with
      disabilities.
  • Parent to Parent
    • The purpose of a Parent to Parent matching
      program is to match trained parents who are
      experiencing a time of crisis or are seeking
      resources and information.
  • DADVOCATES
    • Involving fathers in the lives of
      their children with disabilities.
  • Paying tribute
    • A regular series of tributes to friends
      and loved ones with disabilities - who
      are either still with us or who have passed on.
  • The Jan La Belle Scholarship
    • The Jan La Belle Scholarship Program was
      established in 2009 to provide a financial
      resource to individuals with disabilities who
      desire to pursue their personal and career goals
      through attendance at a postsecondary institution.
  • Family STAR
    • This program will assist families of families
      of Children and Youth with Special Health
      Care Needs (CYSHCN) and professionals to make
      informed decisions about health care through
      support, training, assistance and resources that families
      can be effective partners in the health care decision
      making process at all levels.
  • PIRC
    • The FL PIRC of FND provides free services
      statewide to form and foster partnerships
      between home and school to build sustainable
      relationships for student success.

    • The FND University is a 24 hour, online distance
      learning system that will allow you to take
      a variety of trainings from the comfort of your own home.
  • The FND Digital Library
    • The FND Digital Library contains hundreds of
      resources, including workshops, tip sheets, and
      other materials on various special education topics.
  • Transition Tool Kit
    • The purpose of this Transition Tool Kit is to put
      meaningful resources and information in the hands
      of youth across Florida just like you!

Family Network is a statewide network of families and individuals who may be at-risk, have disabilities, or have special needs and their families, professionals, and concerned citizens. Our mission is to ensure through collaboration that Floridians have full access to family-driven support, education, information, resources, and advocacy.
